Dr. Dae-Kyung Kang (강대경 교수님) is currently a professor at the Department of Animal Resources Science in Dankook University, Cheonan Campus (Korea). He finished his Ph.D. degree at Tokyo University (Japan), and continued his postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (USA) with research focusing on iron regulation systems in cells. He has been recognized as one of "Marquis Who's Who in the World", "IBC Foremost Scientist of the World", and awarded the "DKU Best Teaching Award" in 2008. Currently, his research interests and laboratory studies focus on functional probiotics, especially on lactic acid bacteria and gut microbiome.
