Kunkook University. Last December 6, LIMB alumni and UP Professor Marilen Parungao-Balolong presented during the Korean Society for Lactic Acid Bacteria and Probiotics (KSLABP) 2019 International Conference titled, "New Paradigm of Probiotics and Gut-Microbiome." Professor Parungao-Balolong was invited to talk about her current research on probiotics and functional foods.

Stockholm, Sweden. Recently, LIMB alumni Dr. Valerie Diane Valeriano joined a new laboratory in Karolinska Institutet. Biomedicum, which the institute coined as a laboratory of the future, houses various research fields and promotes interdisciplinary cooperation and collaboration. (link to Biomedicum)
