Professor Kang has been appointed as the president of the Korea Society of Dairy Science Technology for the year 2020. 

KSDST publishes and distributes the Journal of Milk Science and Biotechnology (indexed in Korea Citation Index), which aims to disseminate scientific knowledge and advancement on dairy food science.
