Congratulations to 2020 Graduates

Professor Kang and the rest of LIMB members congratulates Dr. Ju Kyoung Oh and Ms. Mia Beatriz Amoranto for successfully completing their respective programs and earning their degrees last August 25, 2020. Furthermore, we proudly congratulate Dr. Ju Kyoung Oh for also receiving the Beomjeong Academic Thesis Award (범정학술논문상) for his dissertation entitled, “Metagenomic Studies in the Correlation of Body Weight and Fecal Microbiota in Different Animal Models: The Role of Probiotics and Prebiotics.”

After graduation, Dr. Oh will be pursuing his post-doctoral studies at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, with Dr. Valerie Diane Valeriano. On the other hand, Ms. Amoranto will return to the Philippines to work under the research laboratory of Prof. Marilen Parungao-Balolong in the University of the Philippines – Manila.
